Integrated Diploma Programme 2027

Listening & Understanding Client's Map

Therapy is a space of mutual competence and respect between the therapist and the client– the client is the best source for their problems; the therapists posses the skills for holding the integrity of the client’s reality. But this comes from listening. It is the therapist’s ability to listen to the client and understand their world map from their own lens. But listening alone is not enough; listening in silence is what can bring to light the client’s territory.

The Process of Elicitation

The process of elicitation facilitates understanding the impact of the impact. What is it that is not available to the client as a result of the impact? Do they believe they have no choice but to react? Are they compelled to travel the past because of the hidden triggers?
It’s only when the impact of the impact is understood that the ecology can be restored.
